The Pedestal

My pedestal has gone through many evolutions... Look on some of the other pages here... New its the FDS Elite version with no backlighting (yet) and some new panels and mechanisms from other people (see below). And its by far not done yet, notice the sagging of the panels towards the center... But I will not do anything in that respect before I get my new throttles from WESTOZY sometimes next year. A complete redo will be necessary by then anyway.

| I have bought a new Speedbrake and Flap Mechanism from simparts.de (http://www.simparts.de/). The Speedbrake is shown above and the flaps below. They come with backlighting and authentic working mechanisms (they claim) Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of the mechanisms before I installed them. Have not connected the backlighting yet (5 V dc). |

Looks good, doesn't it ? The flaps work perfectly, I am still having some problems to adjust the pot in the spoilers correctly (this is an FDT problem, not with the hardware).
